We're on the hunt for a driven Trainee Used Vehicle Buyer to join our high-performing team at Osborne Park Kia, LDV and MG.

No previous experience required, full on the job training provided for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Sourcing and purchasing quality used vehicles through auctions, dealerships, trade-ins, and private sales
  • Accurately appraising vehicles and negotiating purchase prices to maximise profitability
  • Staying up to date with current market trends, demand, and resale values to inform buying decisions
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with wholesalers, auction houses, and other suppliers
  • Ensuring all vehicle purchases meet company standards for quality, compliance, and profitability
  • Working closely with the sales team to align vehicle stock with customer demand
  • Managing stock levels and ensuring a consistent pipeline of vehicles for retail
  • Represent the dealership professionally and ethically at all times

What we're looking for:

  • You understand the buying process and what makes a great used car
  • Confidence in building and maintaining professional relationships
  • You communicate clearly, persuasively, and respectfully
  • Have a strong interest or experience in used vehicle operations
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Hold a current and valid manual driver's licence
  • Hold (or can obtain) a current Salesperson's Licence
  • Previous experience in a similar role or interest and passion for the automotive industry
