IDL is an end-to-end, full-service beverage company. We offer complete private label and contract beverage production solutions for wine as well as a range of other beverages.
Our facility houses some of the most sophisticated wine, cider and beverage processing equipment in the world, ensuring that our products are consistently produced to the highest standards. In the past three years alone, wines produced by IDL have won thirty-seven international wine awards and four of these wines took out top spot with gold medals.
We specialize in providing end-to-end solutions for our customers who are interested in the distribution of our brands or the development of their own labels for the domestic and export markets.
Summary:
Due to an internal placement, we currently have an opening for an experienced and detail-oriented Production Scheduler in our Beverage Operations remit.
The Production Scheduler plays a key role in supporting beverage manufacturing by planning and sequencing liquid production to optimise both manufacturing efficiency and timely availability for the packing operation.
This role requires close collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the business to ensure production runs smoothly.
This role is for you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are adaptable, organised and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain work orders in our ERP system for beverage operations.
- Maintain a detailed production schedule in MRP system, collaborating daily with beverage coordinators to optimise plans
- Work closely with the procurement team to ensure all necessary items are on-site when manufacturing is scheduled.
- Monitor the position and status of any undelivered materials required, liaising with procurement and commercial team to obtain accurate updates.
- Proactively identify and communicate potential delays or risks to the production plan
- Maintain accurate BOMs (Bills of Materials), routing, and product information to support manufacturing processes
Requirements:
- 3+ years in a manufacturing, supply, or logistics-based industry
- Proficient in using ERP/MRP software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of safety management systems in a FMCG environment

- Knowledge of business operations including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
