About the Role:As a Supply Planner, you'll play a critical role in ensuring product availability across our network while balancing cost, service, and inventory efficiency. Reporting to the Imports and Exports Lead, you'll collaborate across functions to align supply with demand, manage supplier relationships, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, operational performance, and our ability to innovate and grow sustainably.
What You Will Do:Develop and communicate monthly supply plans aligned with inventory targets and distribution centre (DC) capacity.
Collaborate with Demand Planners to ensure alignment between supply and demand forecasts.
Monitor supplier deliveries, manage exceptions, and expedite or de-expedite orders as needed.
Maintain high data accuracy in master data and document standard operating procedures.
Participate in Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), new product development (NPD), and supply chain projects.
Proactively manage low or out-of-stock situations using system alerts and stock cover tools.
Liaise with DCs and suppliers to ensure inventory integrity and timely stock movement.
Generate and execute purchase plans to meet customer service targets above 98%.
Identify supply risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Support inventory reporting, audits, and planning during resource-constrained periods.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply capabilities and reduce waste.
Ensure compliance with OH&S, environmental, and quality standards.
You're a detail-oriented and analytical supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment. You bring a collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for solving problems and driving results.
Essential Skills & Experience:
3+ years of experience in supply chain planning within large FMCG or manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of supply planning systems and advanced Excel skills (Power BI is a plus).
Solid understanding of end-to-end demand and supply planning processes.
Familiarity with S&OP and supply chain planning concepts.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve ambiguity, and work under pressure.
Strong numerical and data accuracy skills.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
Tertiary qualification in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience in production planning, distribution, or inventory control.
Proficiency in SAP, APO, or S/4HANA.
Project management certification or experience.
Training in spreadsheet modeling, Oliver Wight Class A, or MRPII (e.g., CPIM).
