About the Role
We're on the lookout for a proactive and detail-driven Production Planner to join our dynamic Planning team at our Arndell Park facility.
In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for creating, updating, and managing production schedules to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time, in full, and within budget. You'll work closely with cross functional teams to optimise production efficiency, manage inventory levels, and ensure seamless delivery of high quality products to our customers.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborating with Procurement to ensure timely and complete delivery of raw materials.
- Forecasting material requirements and identifying potential supply issues.
- Reviewing production line capacities and adjusting schedules accordingly.
- Publishing daily production plans to maintain service levels and meet dispatch timelines.
- Coordinating with production teams to align schedules with truck load-out times.
- Managing finished goods planning, shelf life, and pack weight accuracy.
- Overseeing consignment stock and liaising with customers for smooth coordination.
- Providing regular updates to stakeholders and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Managing end of day planning and real time coordination via two-way radio.

About you
You're a natural problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys the challenge of keeping operations running like clockwork. You bring a strong understanding of production planning and a passion for continuous improvement.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Proven experience in a production planning role, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing
- Solid grasp of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and related software
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities under pressure
- SAP experience is a plus, but not essential
