Help shape and position the Company for future success by being our Group Mine Geology Manager. This integral leadership position requires a hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution. Passionate about shaping and molding multiple geology teams across all operations and driving success in all aspects of mine geology is a must

Based in our corporate office, with travel required to the various Company owned assets, including Paulsens Gold Operation (PGO), Coyote Gold Operation (CGO) and Kal East Gold Operation (KEG).

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for driving an integrated approach across the Company of the operational geology functions required to ensure delivery of gold production targets and operational continuity.

About You

Your success will come from leading with a collaborative approach — working closely not just with the Geology Teams, but with all departments across our operations.

You need to have a tenacity to embrace challenges, passion for making a difference, and an ability to foster trust and shared values across the geology teams and within the corporate and site leadership teams.

You will also have the below:

  • Tertiary qualification in Geology or related discipline, with a strong understanding and experience in mine geology and grade control processes in Archean gold (open pit and underground).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within the resources or similar industries, ideally in project or senior leadership roles.
  • Skilled and knowledgeable in geological modelling, resource estimation, and reconciliation.
  • Advanced knowledge of 3D geological modelling software, including Leapfrog Geo, Deswik and acQuire.
  • Experienced in developing budgets, forecasts and managing costs across multi-disciplined teams.
  • Must be JORC Competent Person (Archean Gold).
