Matsa Resources has recently commenced mining at the Devon Pit Gold Mine and is expanding its technical team. We're a well-funded gold exploration and producing company focused on the Lake Carey Gold Project (1Moz resource) south of Laverton, which includes Devon, Fortitude, Fortitude North and Red October.

The Role

We are seeking Mine Geologists to lead geology functions at Devon Pit and support broader project work. This role will be hands-on across production and near-mine exploration, with responsibilities including:

• Grade control and ore block mark-out
• Mapping, sampling and ore spotting
• Assist design and implementation of grade control drilling programs
• Production tracking and reporting
• Assist with the upkeep of good practice geological systems and database management

About You

• Can do energetic and disciplined mindset
• Degree in Geology or related discipline
• Open-pit gold geology experience
• Competent with mining software (Surpac, Datamine, Leapfrog or similar)
• Leadership ability with a practical, hands-on approach
