Exciting opportunity for an experienced Delivery Manager (EL1) to join a major Federal Government program focused on large-scale ICT and legislative reform initiatives. This role will see you lead delivery across complex projects that have a direct impact on national digital transformation and public services.

About the Role

As a Delivery Manager (EL1), you'll be responsible for driving delivery outcomes across value streams, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality expectations. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage dependencies and risks, and work closely with Product Managers and Owners to align delivery priorities and outcomes.

You'll play a key role in:

  • Preparing and maintaining delivery plans across ICT value streams
  • Managing risks, issues, dependencies, and team resourcing
  • Leading Program Increment (PI) planning and contributing to strategic showcases
  • Building strong relationships across program leadership, business, and systems teams
  • Promoting continuous improvement and best practice across delivery teams
  • Applicants based outside Canberra will be required to travel occasionally for onboarding, planning sessions, or workshops.

Skills and Experience:

  • To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • 5+ years' experience managing ICT delivery projects to time, cost, scope, and quality
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, fostering high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability across diverse groups
  • Proven experience delivering data exchange or ICT transformation projects
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Security Clearance:

  • Baseline Clearance is mandatory
  • NV1 preferred

What's on offer:

  • Hybrid working arrangement
  • 12 month contract + 6 month extension
  • $900 - $1150 per day depending on experience
