We have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing Social Media team based in Sydney and are currently looking for a Social Content Specialist to join the team.
As a Social Content Specialist, you will bring our brand voices to life through engaging, on-trend, and platform-optimised content. With a sharp editorial eye and an instinct for what resonates with online communities, you'll craft and publish compelling proactive and reactive copy across multiple social channels.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Write, edit, and schedule compelling copy across platforms using tools like Sprinklr.
- Champion brand tone and editorial standards across all social media outputs.
- Collaborate closely with internal creative, brand, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life.
- Continuously refine and evolve brand voice to resonate with distinct audience archetypes and platforms.
- Develop and maintain social content calendars aligned with marketing and campaign goals.
- Support creative brief development and contribute to ideation on new content formats.
- Review analytics and post-performance insights to inform future content decisions.
- Stay ahead of meme culture, platform updates, and digital behavior shifts to keep our content relevant and resonant.
What you will bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a social media, digital marketing, or content production role.
- Proven experience writing and editing social-first copy, ideally in entertainment, gaming, or consumer brands.
- Experience working with content publishing tools (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar).
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g. Meta Insights or Google Analytics) to assess performance and inform strategy.
- Outstanding writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for multiple brands and audiences.
- Deep understanding of platform-specific behaviours (Instagram Reels, TikTok trends, Twitter/X tone, etc.).
