About the Role
As a Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key clients across Victoria. This is a relationship-driven role focused on understanding each client's business, identifying challenges, and delivering service solutions that create measurable value.
You'll collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery, while leading and mentoring a small on-ground team. Your goal: strengthen partnerships, solve problems proactively, and help clients succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key B2B clients, building trust and understanding their unique business challenges.
- Provide tailored service solutions that improve client efficiency, profitability, and satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts, re-engage inactive clients, and increase overall business value.
- Act as a proactive, analytical partner to clients, anticipating pain points and recommending solutions.
- Lead, support, and communicate effectively with a small internal team to align on priorities.
- Represent the company professionally and commercially in all interactions, both on-site and remotely.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, BDM, or similar role, ideally in FMCG or service-based industries (coffee, chocolate, hospitality, or related sectors).
- Strong relationship-building skills with business owners or key decision-makers.
- Ability to navigate complex processes and provide solutions tailored to client needs.
- Analytical and commercial mindset, with the confidence to negotiate and problem-solve.
- Resilient, proactive, and curious — you actively learn about clients, processes, and products.
- Leadership potential, particularly around team communication and collaboration.
- Willingness to travel within the state to meet clients and build relationships.
