Duty Manager – Full Time Prince of Wales Hotel – Gulgong, NSW

About the Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, lead our front-of-house team, and ensure every guest enjoys a great experience. This is a hands on, full-time role suited to someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support daily operations across the bar, bistro, gaming, and accommodation
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain high service standards
  • Work the bar alongside staff, ensuring efficient and friendly service
  • Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
  • Manage cash handling, reconciliations, and end-of-day reporting
  • Ensure compliance with RSA, RCG, and safety requirements
  • Contribute ideas to enhance guest experience and increase revenue

About You

  • Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a busy hotel or restaurant environment
  • Proven duty management or supervisory background
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • A bright, bubbly personality with a can-do attitude and calm under pressure


• Hands-on leader who leads by example
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and training skills

  • Able to follow direction from management
  • Current RSA and RCG + ARCG (or willingness to obtain)
  • High attention to detail, initiative, and problem-solving skills
  • Energetic and driven to build lasting customer relationships
