Otti Cafe South Brisbane is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. This pivotal role offers the chance to work closely with our Award-winning Head Chef to positively influence Otti Cafe's culinary direction by creating a remarkable dining experience for our guests
Requirements
- Cert III or equivalent qualification
A positive, self-driven attitude towards your work must have a minimum 3 years' experience in a similar environment.
General Responsibilities
- Support Head Chef with planning and overseeing the execution of all kitchen operations, ensuring culinary excellence.
- Collaborate with our Head Chef to employ and build a high-performance kitchen team.
- Support our Head Chef to develop seasonal menus that embody contemporary culinary trends while maintaining the highest standards of quality and profitability.
- Support the Head Chef in accurately forecasting and managing the procurement of kitchen supplies and food ingredients, optimizing costs without compromising quality.
- Ensure seamless operation of kitchen during multiple service offers and bespoke events and functions.
- Vigilantly enforce all hygiene and food safety regulations as per statutory requirements.
- Cultivate a professional work environment that encourages mutual respect and collaboration.
