About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Production Manager to oversee daily operations in our pet treat dehydration facility. This hands-on role will ensure production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely—while maintaining the highest quality standards. You'll lead a small team, coordinate schedules, and implement best practices to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day production of dehydrated pet treats, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Manage and train production staff, fostering a positive, team-focused workplace.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, coordinating repairs and servicing as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health & safety, and company standards.
  • Track inventory, raw material usage, and production yields.
  • Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost management.
About You:
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing/processing, ideally in dehydration or meat processing.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards.
  • Hands-on and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Forklift licence or willingness to obtain (advantageous).
