Top Stock Agencies Mareeba is one of the leading manufacturers of bespoke animal feeds in Far North Queensland and we are a wholly owned subsidiary of NQ CO-OP Ltd.We are seeking locally based Labourers / Fixed Plant Operators to join our manufacturing operations team in Mareeba on a casual basis.  The position would suit a couple / pair of working holiday makers/backpackers if you are local and staying close to Mareeba (Cairns is too far to travel). If you are reliable, enjoy a variety of physical work and have previous experience in either fixed plant or a warehouse environment we would like to hear from you .

The Positions:

Reporting to the Production Manager, our production team members are critical to our manufacturing process for all our livestock feed products including special orders and blends. You will assist with bagging, sealing and loading product, plus all the routine daily operations of our yard and stock warehouse.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manufacturing animal feed blends according to diet requirements, raw materials and recipes.
  • Operating various bagging machines and packing pallets.
  • Loading and unloading trucks with forklift.
  • Assisting the Production Manager with inventory management and administrative duties for the warehouse.
  • General maintenance/clearing of the Warehouse and Yard
  • Adhering to all Workplace Health & Safety process that are vital to the safe functioning of a modern industrial manufacturing plant.

The successful candidate(s) must be physically fit and will have a solid work ethic. You must be punctual and reliable above all else and be based locally to Mareeba (not Cairns which is too far to commute). A good attitude is vital along with an eye for detail and the willingness to work as part of supportive and capable team.
