About the role
We are looking for an experienced Practice Manager to join our passionate team at Birds of Paradise, a leading healthcare provider in Cairns, Queensland. As our Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our medical practice, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of high-quality patient care.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee all administrative and operational functions of the medical practice
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to enhance practice efficiency and productivity
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements
- Supervise and mentor the administrative staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Liaise with healthcare providers, patients, and other stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues
- Oversee the practice's financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making processes of the organisation
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare practice management role
- Proven track record of successfully managing the operations of a medical practice
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and accreditation standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, providers, and staff
- Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, and reporting
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Collaborative team player with a strong focus on providing exceptional patient care
