About The Role
The Radiographer in Charge will be responsible for the operational delivery of medical imaging services under the direction of the Managing Radiologist and in accordance with the Queensland X-ray operational requirements. This role at Taringa Westside Private Hospital practice is being offered as a 14 Month Secondment to cover parental leave.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate exceptional teamwork, communication and time management. Strong motivational skills, decision making, planning, initiative and conflict resolution skills are also essential.

• Provide managerial leadership of the Medical Imaging team delivering services in accordance with the relevant prescribed professional and ethical standards and the established practice and company-wide protocols and policies
• Provide guidance to the operations team for the purpose of workforce planning and capability strategies to achieve enhancement and efficiency in service delivery
• Provide managerial leadership of the practice under the direction of the operations team
• Lead the development of service improvement initiatives to ensure the provision of high quality Medical Imaging services
• Deliver advanced level medical imaging clinical services
• Apply expertise to solve clinical service or workflow problems
• Foster and promote a workplace culture than aligns with the Sonic Core Values

About You

• Demonstrated experience leading a team within the radiology industry is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with patients, referring doctors and other members of the medical imaging team
• Passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience and coaching others to do the same
• Advanced level clinical skills in general radiography and CT
• Experience in MRI preferred
• Able to demonstrate leadership qualities
• Ongoing commitment to skill development, personal and professional growth, overseeing training, development and performance of others
• Full AHPRA registration and QLD Radiation Use Licence required
