About the roleWe are now seeking a proactive, highly organised and focused Events Coordinator to join our team. This is a dynamic role where each day brings new challenges, meaningful connections, and opportunities to create exceptional experiences for our members. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality events across Australia. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who is passionate about event management, thrives in a busy environment, loves variety, and enjoys working with passionate stakeholders.
Occasional travel and outside of hours work may be required as part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Event Management: Coordinate end-to-end logistics including venue and supplier sourcing, budget oversight, registration management and event communications.
- Speaker management: Managed speaker engagement from initial liaison through to contract finalisation, invoicing, and development of tailored speaker notes to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Exhibitor and sponsorship coordination: Liaise and coordinate exhibitors/sponsor inclusion.
- Marketing: Collaborate with marketing team to support the delivery of the marketing communication plan and timeline.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and implement enhancements to event processes, contributing to improved member and stakeholder experiences and operational efficiency.
You will succeed in this role if you are proactive, organised, and passionate about creating great experiences. You bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in events, marketing, or a related field (desirable)
- Strong proven record in organising events with minimum 2 years experience preferred.
- Experience coordinating conferences and exhibitions
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A professional, solution-focused mindset
- Confidence engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including members, volunteers, speakers and suppliers
- A positive, self-motivated attitude with strong initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hybrid working conditions (2 days in the office/3 days WFH)
