Senior Electrical Engineer

• Location: Brisbane, QLD (Sydney or Newcastle considered)


• Roster: Monday-Friday (office-based with occasional site visits)

Role Opportunity
Join a global engineering consultancy delivering sustaining capital projects across major mining clients including BHP, Rio Tinto, and Glencore. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will work across the East Coast portfolio and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on brownfield upgrades and project execution, reporting to the Engineering Manager. This is a 12-month contract role with likely extension.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Electrical Engineering


• 5+ years in mining or heavy industrial sectors


• Experience delivering electrical engineering packages


• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication


• Knowledge of Australian electrical standards

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering solutions across mining assets


• Prepare specifications, reports, and scopes


• Interface with site, design, and client teams


• Manage multiple project priorities across clients


• Ensure compliance with client standards and codes
