CoMade is seeking a highly experienced
Senior Electrical Project Engineer
to join our team on the CRR infrastructure project. This role is critical to the successful delivery of electrical systems across construction and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage electrical engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee design reviews, technical specifications, and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of electrical works.
  • Support commissioning activities, including testing, verification, and handover documentation.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Utilise
    Hexagon Smart Completions
    for tracking, managing, and verifying commissioning deliverables.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's degree or higher).
  • Minimum of
    10 years' experience
    in electrical engineering within
    construction and commissioning
    on
    infrastructure projects
    .
  • Demonstrated experience using
    Hexagon Smart Completions
    or similar commissioning management systems.
  • Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards and codes.
  • Proven ability to manage complex engineering tasks and deliver outcomes under tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working on major transport, civil, or tunnelling projects is highly desirable.
