The Position:

We pride ourselves on quality food, beverage, and customer service and are looking for an outstanding Chef/Cook who has extensive experience in a variety of food operations.

You are energetic, organised and self-motivated with strong leadership qualities. In this role it will be your responsibility to ensure quality and consistency are maintained across the board. This position offers a great opportunity for growth and career progression all packaged within an excellent company culture.

Key duties:

  • Ensuring food preparation, cooking and presentation is of a high standard at all times.
  • Assist in menu development and planning.
  • Demonstrate, implement and maintain effective cost control strategies for both product and labour.
  • Ensure OHS compliance and maintain correct food safety procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations.
  • You will have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with great attention to detail
  • A positive 'can do' attitude and the ability to work within a team environment
  • You must be passionate about food and able to lead by example, with drive, enthusiasm and attention to detail.
  • You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to motivate and develop staff, and be adept at maintaining a positive team environment.
  • You must have the ability to work under pressure.
