Shack66 is looking for a reliable, hands-on cook to join our team full-time. You'll be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard, maintaining a clean work area, and working efficiently during busy service times.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a cook or chef in a café, restaurant, or similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of food prep, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management and ability to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship offered)

Key Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items to order
  • Assist with food prep and stock rotation
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Follow recipes and portion controls
  • Work collaboratively with the team during service
  • Ensure food safety and safe work practices

Location: Villawood

Hours:

  • Monday–Friday: 7:30am – 3:00pm

  • Sunday: 8:30am – 4:00pm

Start: Immediate
