About Create NSW
Create NSW supports the people, places, communities, and creative work that shape the cultural life of NSW. Through investment, programs and partnerships, we help make creativity visible, valued and part of everyday life. Our work is guided by the NSW Government's Creative Communities policy and a commitment to a vibrant, inclusive and future-focused sector.
About the role
This role is responsible for managing the administration of Create NSW's grants programs, ensuring funding is delivered efficiently, transparently and in line with government policies and processes. You will oversee contracts with grant recipients, monitor compliance and performance, and make sure investments achieve their intended outcomes for the creative sector.
You will also provide clear advice and guidance to stakeholders, support program teams in assessing applications, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of grants systems and processes. The role requires balancing compliance and governance with a focus on accessibility, diversity and value for the communities and organisations we support.

About You
You possess demonstrated experience in grants management and administration, including contract oversight and the use of grants systems such as OneGMS, SmartyGrants or similar platforms. You have a solid understanding of compliance and government standards and are able to apply them in a practical way to ensure funding is delivered fairly and transparently. You are confident working with a wide range of stakeholders, balancing competing priorities and limited resources while maintaining positive relationships.
You have the ability to manage grants programs from start to finish, ensuring operations run smoothly, contracts are administered effectively, and funding is delivered on time.
