Our staff take advantage of flexibility in physical and virtual spaces to support an increasingly personalised approach to learning for our young people. Pacific has a seamless curriculum across Kindergarten to Year 12 with teams of teachers working across the four subgroups of the College. Role Description
The College has a well-developed and highly regarded Learning Enrichment Department that supports the learning of students who benefit from both learning support and extension. The Head of Learning Enrichment P-12 leads the Learning Enrichment Department across the College and is expected to support the Director of Learning, Head of Learning Middle College, Head of Learning K-5 and Head of Learning Senior College, in ensuring that high quality teaching and learning occurs across Prep-Year 12, particularly in regard to ensuring the provision of quality learning experiences for students with diverse needs. The Head of Learning Enrichment P-12 oversees the Head of Learning Enrichment P-5, learning enrichment middle years teachers, learning enrichment aides Years 6-12 and works in partnership with the Student Engagement team and College Counsellors for diverse learners. The Head of Learning Enrichment P-12 is directly answerable to the Director of Learning.

Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate or have the demonstrated capacity to develop the capabilities described below:
SC 1. Demonstrated ability to support the Christian ethos of the College.
SC 2. Demonstrated professional skills in the leadership of learning enrichment, which includes the supervision and professional learning of staff and the fostering of learning partnerships with students, parents, staff and members of the wider community to support students with diverse needs. High levels of pedagogical expertise, including the ability to model and lead the ongoing integration of contemporary skills into learning, will be expected. It is expected that the Head of Learning Enrichment will have a strong understanding and working knowledge of the Tiered Response to Intervention, Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and the Disability Standards for Education.
SC 3. Demonstrated skills and knowledge of various processes and implementation strategies (including AARA application processes, the NCCD data collection process, verification, enrichment & extension programs and curriculum differentiation) pertaining to learning enrichment.
SC 4. High levels of administration and organisational skills, including the ability to set and manage budgets, determine staffing levels, oversee the maintenance of appropriate records, ensure high standards of workplace health and safety are maintained and complete government accountability processes.
SC 5. Demonstrated levels of confidence, flexibility, teamwork, innovation and perseverance required to enhance a highly effective K-12 learning culture. This includes a commitment to ongoing professional learning and growth across all dimensions of College life.
Conditions
- Salary and related conditions are as per current Lutheran Schools Enterprise Agreement.
- Teachers must possess or be eligible for registration within Queensland.
