Your role, your responsibilities, your mission ...

As the Director, you are the
ultimate authority and driving force
behind the firm's Tax Advisory function. Your role is to elevate both the team's capabilities and the service offering to meet accelerating market demand.

• Strategic Leadership:
  Design and execute the ambitious
  growth strategy
  for the Tax and Advisory services division, ensuring alignment with the firm's overall commercial objectives.
• Technical Authority:
  Serve as the
  "go-to" expert
  on the most complex tax issues, providing top-tier, definitive advice to high-calibre clients and mentoring internal advisory teams.
• Talent Cultivation:
  Act as a
  senior-level leader
  and mentor, fostering a culture of technical excellence and progression within the junior and mid-level advisory levels.
• Knowledge Innovation:
  Conceptualise and spearhead the firm's
  tax education and training strategy
  (both in-house and externally), positioning the practice at the forefront of regulatory change.
• Client Partnering:
  Leverage deep commercial insight to provide forward-looking advice on
  structuring, M&A, and optimisation
  that directly drives client wealth and business goals.

Your Expertise: Complex Private Client Tax

The successful candidate will possess a
deep, hands-on command
of the tax landscape impacting high-net-worth groups and private enterprises.

• Taxation Specialisations:
  Advanced knowledge and practical experience in:
• Corporate and Trust Tax (including
  Tax Consolidation
  and
  Division 7A
  ).
• Complex
  Tax Planning
  and structuring/re-structuring, including cross-border implications.
• M&A Support:
  Managing Due Diligence and Transaction Tax Advisory.
• Employee Share Schemes (ESS) and Capital Gains Tax (CGT).
• Indirect Taxes and regulatory compliance.

What You Bring: The Leadership Profile

This role is tailored for a seasoned professional ready to make a significant, measurable impact from day one.

• Experience:
  Minimum
  10+ years
  of progressive experience within private client or mid-market tax advisory, ideally within a Big 4, Mid-Tier, or specialist boutique environment.
• Qualifications:
  Fully qualified
  CA or CPA
  with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
• A Strategic Thinker:
  Proven ability to move beyond compliance to develop and present high-level,
  strategic solutions
  that address complex financial objectives.
• Proven Leadership:
  A natural ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a growing team of tax professionals.
• Relationship Acumen:
  Exceptional skills in cultivating long-term, trusted advisory relationships with business principals, family office staff, and internal stakeholders.
