About the role

The purpose of this role is to provide leadership and operational management of the administrative functions within STARS ensuring delivery of efficient, effective and professional services by administration staff across the facility to support the provision of clinical services and contribute towards achieving STARS strategic and operational objectives.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to administrative staff, modelling professional competence, accountability, ethical behaviour, and commitment to the vision and values of MNH.
  • Act as the professional lead of the administrative stream across STARS, providing expert, timely and accurate advice on standards, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead the administrative service that is responsive to client enquiries, with the ability to resolve queries and problems professionally, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Lead operational and strategic planning of administrative services ensuring alignment with organisational goals, best practice standards, and patient-focused outcomes.
