FinXL is seeking a skilled Senior Network Administrator to administer, maintain, and support a secure and robust IT infrastructure. This role requires a strong focus on security compliance, high availability, and uninterrupted service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be directly responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support across the following core technical areas:

  • Network Infrastructure: Comprehensive management of wide area networks (WANs) and local area networks (LANs) to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Core Services: Oversight of essential services, including internet, file, print, electronic mail, and scheduling services.
  • Hardware & Platforms: Administration of diverse computer hardware (mainframes, servers, and desktops) and various operating software platforms.
  • Security & Access: Managing user access to specified Applications and database Software.
  • System Management: Implementing and maintaining effective network and systems management tools, as well as robust data backup and recovery services.

Desirable:

  • Defence Sector Experience is Highly Desirable: Prior, hands-on experience working within the Australian Defence environment or similar highly regulated government/security environments will be a significant advantage.
