Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Aspiring Talent Full time

Here's a chance to make your mark in a purpose-led organisation that's embracing change at pace. With strong growth across multiple lending products, they are investing heavily in technology and customer experience — and this new UX Analyst / Designer role is central to that journey.

Working alongside some exceptional developers and teams across the business, you'll blend research and design execution: mapping journeys, defining navigation and layout, and translating concepts into prototypes that developers can build. With the option to work full-time or part-time across four days, this is a role where your voice and ideas will directly shape the future.

The Opportunity

This newly created role will play a key part in shaping and refining digital experiences across multiple lending platforms. From mapping customer journeys and leading user research to creating wireframes and prototypes, you will deliver thoughtful, intuitive and inclusive experiences that make a real difference in people's lives.

You will work closely with developers, product owners and senior stakeholders to bring ideas to life, ensuring each digital touchpoint reflects the organisation's commitment to accessibility, simplicity and customer care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead user research to uncover customer needs, pain points and behavioural insights
  • Develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups using Figma
  • Design simple, elegant workflows with clear information architecture
  • Translate UX concepts into functional, developer-ready UI designs that accelerate delivery and build to reduce rework
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders in an Agile delivery environment
  • Contribute to the design system and maintain documentation standards
  • Champion accessibility and inclusive design principles across all products

What You'll Bring

  • A degree in UX, Human-Computer Interaction, IT or a related field
  • At least three years' hands-on UX design experience, ideally in financial services or another regulated sector
  • A strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design processes and outcomes
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD
  • Familiarity with front-end basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with non-design stakeholders

Employee Benefits

  • Brisbane-based, with flexibility to work from home one day a week
  • Option to work full-time or four days per week
  • Discounts on private health insurance and gym memberships
  • Staff investment opportunities and regular culture and recognition events
  • A supportive and inclusive environment where your work will be valued and seen
