About You

You have a positive ''can do'' attitude, are confident and have attention to detail. With a willingness to learn, you are able to follow procedures and be thoughtful with your work.

An interest in textiles would be advantageous, but simply having pride in your work and appreciating a good end result is key.

You think "near enough" is not "good enough", and are accurate in your work.

Your duties will include:

  • Measuring, laying and cutting out of shade fabric
  • Fabrication of shade sails (Measuring, marking & cutting)
  • Goods handling (inwards and outwards)
  • General factory requirements
  • Some smaller deliveries/pickups from local suppliers may be applicable

The successful applicant must:

  • Be motivated and energetic to meet deadlines
  • Be experienced & accurate reading and interpreting measurements
  • Be willing to learn
  • Be physically fit and agile as some lifting will be involved
  • Be able to work in a team environment
  • Possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude
  • Have a strong work ethic and reliability
  • Have strong organisational skills and able to follow instructions.
  • Have a responsible attitude towards Health & Safety

NOTE: This is not production line/assembly work.

Full training will be provided.
