Metro Steel Fabrication is a well-established fabrication Company with a wealth of diverse experience in supplying to the construction and resource sector over the past 30 years. A Western Australian owned and operated business with intimate knowledge of steel fabrication and associated industries in Australia. We currently have a strong pipe-line of work for 2025/2026 and need to expand our team. We are seeking Full time Trades Assistants and Side Fork Operators with a good work ethic and are offering GREAT RATES$ for the right candidates.

If you are fresh to the steel industry please don't hesitate to apply also, as we are happy to train the right team to work on our expanding future works.

Day to Day responsibilities include:

  • Use of hand tools such as grinders and drills.
  • Operating side forks.
  • Controlling yard stock and working with the workshop to provide material.
  • Overhead crane use.

Potential Candidates Require;

  • Valid Fork Lift License.
  • Structural steel experience advantageous, but not necessary.
  • Valid Drivers License.
