Market Stall Assistant

Love art and enjoy chatting with people? I'm looking for a friendly, reliable market stall assistant to run my stall at Manly Markets every Saturday and Sunday 


Location:

Manly Markets (Northern Beaches, NSW, 2095)


Hours:

8am – 5pm, every Saturday & Sunday


Start Date:

September 2025


Pay:

$20-$30 per hour depending on age and experience (must have ABN)

About the Role:

  • You'll be the face of my art business, selling art prints and greeting cards, engaging with customers, and handling sales throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up & pack down the stall (Pickup is from Dee Why)
  • Transport stall items to and from the market –

must have a car
- Engage with customers about my artwork and create a welcoming vibe
- Process payments (cash & card – full training provided)
- Keep the stall tidy, secure and visually appealing throughout the day

You'll Thrive in This Role If You Are:

  • Trustworthy & reliable – you'll be handling sales and representing my brand
  • Friendly & approachable – comfortable talking to customers and connecting with people
  • No experience running a market stall needed, just enthusiasm
  • Independent & proactive – it's a full day-commitment, working solo
  • Have a car – this is required for market setup and pack down

A quick note:

  • This is a weekend-only role, perfect for someone who can commit to both Saturday and Sunday each week. I'm looking for someone who truly cares about representing my brand with pride and professionalism.
  • The role will start in September but you must be available to work December and January holiday period
