Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a Marketing Assistant who is keen to gain experience in a broad based B2B marketing role as an all-rounder to execute a range of marketing initiatives across multiple platforms and mediums.

The position requires a general understanding of marketing practices and content writing. This position works and collaborates with all facets of the Wavelink internal functional areas to support the creation of marketing content and assets and deliver value to our customers and teams.

Your primary focus as Marketing Assistant will be to work closely with the Marketing Manager's to create assets such as landing pages, event registration pages, social posts, graphics using canva and also co-ordinate branded merchandise for sales and incentives and to support marketing campaigns aligned to company objectives. The right candidate will hit the ground running using existing tools and working across existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new sales and marketing initiatives. 

Job Responsibilities include:

Working closely with our Marketing, Sales and enablement Team your key responsibilities include:

� CRM and Marketing automation (Hubspot) platform usage for a variety of tasks, including eDM campaigns, newsletters and promotions

�       Sending out information via email and co-ordinator and creation of social media posts

�       Reporting on campaign performance and analytics

�       Ordering and managing promotional branded merchandise and work with sales and enablement for merchandise requests

�       Create graphics for eDMs, social posts and campaigns

�       Website maintenance, including landing page creation, calendar updates, news and blog posts

�       Maintenance of our e-Commerce site

�       Provide regular updates on marketing activities to internal teams

�       Assisting Marketing Managers and The Events Specialist with the organisation of campaigns and events when required

�       Liaise with external parties, including website developers, marketing agencies, creative firms and promotional merchandise suppliers as required

Competencies required for the job:

To be successful in this role, your background should include:

�       Bachelor's degree or other Marketing qualification

� years' experience in a Marketing role

�       Understanding or experience using Hubspot, Canva and Linkedin

�       Self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects

�       Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills

�       A team player who is wanting to work in a high performing environment

�       Strong proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint

�       Ability to extract data and analyse it with team support

�       Experience with Word Press maintaining websites or webstores would be advantageous.
