Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a VP / Head of Sales — Local Government (ANZ) based in Sydney though holds responsibility for ANZ. The initial focus for this senior revenue leader will be to own national growth in Australia's local government market. This is a builder role for someone with trusted council relationships who can turn a strong product into a repeatable, defensible go-to-market.

You will

  • Own and execute the GTM for councils nationwide
  • Win flagship logos and convert them into references and regional momentum.
  • Lead pipeline, forecasting and revenue across net-new, expansion and retention.
  • Navigate tenders, panels, probity and budget cycles to shorten time-to-contract.
  • Hire, coach and set a high bar for enterprise/GovTech selling.

You bring

  • 10–15+ years in enterprise SaaS with proven success across Australian local government.
  • An active network (CEOs/GMs, CIOs/CFOs, Directors, Procurement) and the ability to convert it.
  • Comfort from boardroom to demo; consultative, outcome-focused, product-led mindset.
  • A track record of building repeatable GTM playbooks and teams.
