About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead our beautiful HazelGrove Early Education Centre in Baulkham Hills, NSW. This is a full-time, permanent role offering the opportunity to inspire a dedicated team within a Reggio-inspired, values-led community.
As Centre Director, you'll lead with vision and compassion — ensuring the delivery of high-quality early education and care that reflects HazelGrove's motto of 'Championing Children'.
You will:
- Provide strong, supportive leadership to a team of educators
- Oversee day-to-day operations including rostering, budgeting, and compliance
- Build authentic partnerships with families and the local community
- Ensure the service meets and exceeds NQF and regulatory standards
- Foster an inclusive, positive, and reflective team culture
- Lead continuous improvement through innovation and collaboration
- Engage in professional learning to stay inspired and current in best practice
About You
You are an inspiring and reflective leader who believes that great early learning begins with strong relationships and a deep respect for the uniqueness for each child, family, educators and our community.
You will have:
- Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification and Educational Leader experience
- 2+ years' experience in early childhood director-level leadership role specifically
- Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQF, Laws and Regulations
- A deep passion and love for children, with a commitment to fostering their curiosity and growth
- Collaborative leadership with proven ability to mentor, motivate, and develop a passionate team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A reflective, forward-thinking approach to leadership and pedagogy
