Join our dynamic team at Castle Glen Child Care Centre The purpose of this position is to establish, develop and maintain the early childhood curriculum and educational program activities for children in the 0-6 year old age group consistent with expectations under the early years learning framework.

What this role looks like:

  • Actively supervise children and ensure their wellbeing.
  • Assume responsibility as educational leader consistent with national expectations.
  • Assume responsibility as 'responsible officer' as needed in the absence of the centre director.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relations with enrolled families.
  • Develop, review and maintain curriculum activities exceeding the national quality standards.

What are we seeking in our new team member:

  • First Aid - Education and Care Setting (HLTAID012)
  • First Aid - CPR (HLTAID009)
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood degree (or equivalent)
  • Drivers Licence (Class C) – NSW
  • Working with Children Check
  • Holds Child Protection training certificate (CHCPRT001 or CHCPRT025)
