THE ROLE

Reporting to the Business Services Manager, this role is focused on undertaking accurate and efficient preparation of financial accounts, tax returns and other regulatory reporting obligations for their clients. 

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing financial accounts, income tax returns, BAS and IAS and other regulatory obligations
  • Liaising with the ATO as needed
  • Assisting clients as needed

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3+ years of public practice experience
  • Part way through or completed CA/CPA qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Solid understanding of accounting and tax principles
  • Familiarity with various accounting software packages
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and the ability to develop/maintain relationships with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Able to work autonomously, but also enjoy working collaboratively in a team
  • Highly dependable
