We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Lighting Solutions Sales Specialist to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales through technical expertise, relationship building, and strategic promotion of our lighting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed annual sales targets for lighting solutions.
Promote lighting products and services to electrical engineers, architects, and lighting specifiers through:
In-person meetings and relationship development
- Presentations focused on product benefits and illumination solutions
- Workshops on lighting standards and emerging technologies
- Virtual platforms such as email, video conferencing, and digital presentations
- Promote and utilise in-house lighting design services.
- Assist with specification of luminaires during the design phase of lighting projects.
- Present design pipeline updates at fortnightly sales meetings.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across projects, clients, and industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with electrical contractors and wholesalers.
- Support the quoting process to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt, professional service.
- Act as the main point of contact for customer requests and project updates.
- Follow and improve internal sales and CRM procedures for data accuracy and efficiency.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven success in lighting specification sales.
- Strong client acquisition and account management capabilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Skilled in managing sales pipelines including design proposals, specifications, and closing orders.
- Technical problem-solving abilities using lighting solutions.
- Understanding of contractor–wholesaler–client relationships and tendering processes.
- Ability to identify quote opportunities and drive conversion to orders.
- Proficiency in promoting solutions through samples and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach.
- Track and respond to customer requests and manage expectations effectively.
- Commitment to building lasting customer relationships.
