Estimator
to join our Property Maintenance & Trades Projects division.

About The Role

You'll contribute to a diverse and busy pipeline of trade-based projects, providing accurate and timely estimating support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing detailed
    cost estimates
    ,
    trade breakdowns
    , and labor/material assessments
  • Developing estimates from
    limited or minimally detailed scopes
    , applying sound technical judgement and trade understanding
  • Conducting
    site assessments
    to confirm scope, risks and measurements
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
  • Preparing clear and professionally presented quotes and cost summaries
  • Maintaining accurate pricing databases and cost references
  • Contribute to building our new systems, templates, and workflows

Required Skills and Experience

We are looking for a capable professional who can operate confidently within a fast-paced environment:

  • 3–5+ years' experience
    as an Estimator within trades, construction, fit-out, facilities maintenance or property services
  • Strong capability in preparing multi-trade estimates and analyzing labor/material inputs
  • Proven experience interpreting drawings, specifications, site photos and verbal scopes
  • High level of accuracy in measurement, cost modelling and trade breakdowns
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with estimating/project software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, BuildX, SimPRO or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients, subcontractors and internal teams
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple estimates concurrently
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying NCC requirements and relevant Australian Standards
  • A trade background or holding a relevant qualification will be an added advantage.
