As the Tender/Projects Administrator, you will be a key member of our National Tendering Office, and will work closely with key stakeholders to prepare offers for new contract opportunities and to maintain and support performance and profitability of existing contract business.

A typical day will involve

  • Interpreting client contract requests (RFQ, RFT) and preparing price offers to match client requirements.
  • Working as part of the team to assist in preparing responses to client tender documentation.
  • Sourcing and aligning supplier offer and internal data to complete tender responses and pricing.
  • Maintaining records to support implementation and execution of contract opportunities.
  • Coordinate loading of records to support delivery of customer experience. (Contract price, branch special price, contract additions, EDI data)
  • Contract maintenance: Working with National Key Account Managers to conduct regular price reviews, maintain costs and respond to contract variations/additions, identifying alternatives and cost savings, data cleansing, assisting with relevant SKU creation.
  • Working closely with the National Tendering Pricing Manager under the agreed priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

A bit about you

  • Accurate data entry and manipulation. Sound MS Excel and Outlook capability.
  • Knowledge of Electrical wholesale industry and Electrical products in general e.g., (Lighting, Cable, Industrial Electrical Products etc.) is highly regarded
  • Electrical / Trade Sales background is highly regarded
  • Supplier relationship development and negotiation.
  • Time management and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to understand specifications and parts interpretation.
  • Market / industry knowledge and sound commercial understanding.
