The Position and Responsibilities
Your role will include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities.
You will be responsible for selling our extensive product range of lubricants and associated products, into the Transport, Automotive, Agricultural, Industrial, Motorcycle and Marine industries. We are currently seeking a career focussed individual with a passion for providing exceptional service to our existing customers, as well as seeking new business opportunities, primarily in greater Melbourne and regional Victoria.
We will provide training and a territory hand over process to ensure your long term success. Ongoing support will be a key focus to help you succeed. This role will be split 60/40 with existing account maintenance and 40% of your time will be dedicated to new sales growth through cold calling.
Reporting to your line manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining an established customer base with regular visitation - including overnight travel for regional clients
- Continually seeking new strategic growth opportunities
- Manage key relationships with distributors, resellers and end users
- Participate in customer events, occasional field days and other customer support events, which may include outside of normal work hours.
Critical to your success will be:
- Ability to seek sustainable growth across multiple sectors
- An enthusiasm for success and your ability to adapt
- Reliability and consistency in customer calling and new growth
- Fantastic relationship building skills and sound communication skills
- A willingness to learn and comprehend the lubricants industry
- A valid Driver's Licence
- Computer skills including outlook, word and excel

Ideally you have previous experience within the Transport, Agricultural or industrial sales sectors. A strong ability to prove infield growth and cold calling abilities will be necessary.
