Experience in sales & capital markets will be looked upon favourably, however, it's not essential.

We're searching for someone with a genuine interest in capital markets.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 InvestorHub is looking for a strategic, customer-minded Business Development Representative to join our high-performing team in Melbourne.
This isn't your standard phone-based BDR role. It's a hands-on opportunity to help redefine how we approach business development and pipeline generation in a rapidly growing SaaS company.
You'll work closely with Account Executives, Associate Account Executives, and fellow BDRs as part of a collaborative sales team.
From day one, you'll contribute to refining sales processes, shaping outreach strategies, and influencing how we grow. Our team of BDRs are already raising the bar - exceeding targets and driving real value for prospective clients.
We're looking for someone who can keep pushing that standard higher. This role offers meaningful opportunities for impact and progression. Your ideas will help shape a world-class sales function and contribute directly to InvestorHub's growth story.

  • Get up to speed on our product, processes, and positioning.
  • Complete our BDR training program and begin contributing to the pipeline.
  • Learn about capital markets, including listed companies, capital raising, investor relations, market engagement best practices, and relevant regulations.

  • Build a deep understanding of our market and refine how we connect with prospects.
  • Take ownership of your outreach strategy, becoming a high-performing member of the team.
  • Shadow Account Executives and Associate AEs to gain full visibility of the sales cycle.
  • Sharpen your knowledge across capital markets, capital raising, and IR.
  • Master the tools and platforms that support our sales function.
  • Actively contribute to improving our outreach, messaging, and process with new ideas and insights.


Key Responsibilities 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
  • Initiate contact with potential customers through outreach and follow-ups.
  • Move quality leads through the sales funnel and schedule meetings with AEs and Associate AEs.
  • Research and prospect ASX-listed companies, identify key decision-makers, and generate interest in InvestorHub's offering.
  • Build relationships with prospects to uncover needs through effective questioning.
  • Maintain accurate sales data and documentation by using tools including HubSpot.
  • Test and recommend outreach strategies and best practices to refine our sales process.
  • Collaborate with our marketing function to optimise targeting and messaging.
  • Work closely with AEs and Associate AEs on lead handover and first calls.
