Based in Melbourne and operating across Victoria, we support people with disabilities to live life on their terms. With a strong focus on relationships and reliability, our Support services are trusted by over 200 participants and professionals in the community.

We're now on the lookout for a Business Development Representative who thrives on connection, can build strong networks, and has a genuine interest in the NDIS and community support space.

About the Role

This is a people-focused, on-the-ground role where you'll represent 9D Care to referrers, participants, and partners across Victoria. Whether it's Support Coordinators, Allied Health professionals, Networking Events or community groups — you'll be nurturing and growing our relationships, turning conversations into referrals, and ensuring our brand is known, respected, and trusted. We're looking at paying a salary in the range of $85-$105k depending on the Industry experience of the applicant.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Proactively build referral networks with Support Coordinators, LACs, hospitals, rehab teams, and other providers.
  • Represent 9D Care at networking events, expos, and 1-on-1 catch-ups across Melbourne and beyond.
  • Identify and pursue new growth opportunities in existing and new markets.
  • Work alongside our operations and marketing teams to align on messaging and service offerings.
  • Maintain regular follow-up with leads and referrers to build long-term trust.
  • Meet (and exceed) set referral targets through relationship-based business development.
  • Maintain accurate records of meetings, outreach, and opportunities in our CRM system.
  • Contribute ideas to improve our brand visibility and participant experience.

About You

  • You're a people person — confident, engaging, and great at building rapport.
  • You understand how the NDIS works.
  • You have previous experience in a business development, community engagement, or referral-generation role (NDIS experience highly regarded).
  • You enjoy being out and about, attending meetings, networking events, and making connections.
  • Comfortable working towards KPIs and performance goals – you take ownership and don't shy away from being held accountable
  • You're a strong communicator — written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • You're self-motivated and can manage your own schedule and targets.
  • You genuinely care about helping people access quality support services.
