About the role

This full-time Venue Manager role at Old Courthouse in Fremantle, WA offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a vibrant hospitality venue. As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the venue's operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, financial performance, and a positive work environment for the team.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing all day-to-day operations of the venue, including staff, budgets, inventory, and compliance
  • Driving revenue and profitability through effective marketing, promotions, and strategic decision-making
  • Fostering a positive and productive work culture, providing leadership, coaching, and development to the team
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
  • Maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and policies
  • Continuously identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing innovative ideas to enhance the venue's performance

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience in a senior hospitality management role, preferably within a similar venue or restaurant environment
  • Demonstrated success in driving financial performance, managing budgets, and achieving revenue targets
  • Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
  • Thorough understanding of hospitality operations, including liquor licensing, food safety, and staff management
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both customers and staff
  • A dedicated leader willing to work weekends and nights
