**About The Wray**

The Wray Hotel Fremantle is a boutique hotel and dining destination nestled in the heart of Fremantle’s historic West End. With a strong focus on premium hospitality, locally inspired menus, craft beverages, and stylish design, The Wray offers a vibrant and elevated experience for both locals and visitors alike. We’re now looking for a dynamic **Venue Manager** to lead our front-of-house operations and help shape the next chapter of this exciting venue.

**About the Role**

As **Venue Manager**, you’ll take the reins of our food, beverage, and guest service operations. You will lead a passionate team, ensure exceptional service delivery, drive sales, and be responsible for the day-to-day running of our vibrant bar and dining spaces. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a busy environment and leads by example.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the daily operations of the bar, restaurant, and event spaces
- Lead, train, and inspire a high-performing front-of-house team
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences and service standards
- Manage budgeting, inventory, and supplier relationships
- Drive venue performance through cost control, revenue generation, and staff engagement
- Maintain compliance with RSA, licensing, OH&S, and food safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen and marketing teams to execute promotions and events
- Identify areas for improvement and implement operational efficiencies

**About You**
- Proven experience in venue or hospitality management (2+ years)
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Passionate about hospitality, customer service, and team culture
- Sound understanding of financial and operational management ( stock control)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Current RSA and Approved Manager Certification
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
