In Jan '22, we opened Gage Roads Freo, our 1500 capacity brewpub, located in the Fremantle Port, on the Walyalup Waterfront. So, if you are looking to work somewhere with epic views, tasty chews, bloody good brews, and a incredible work culture, Gage Roads Freo is the place for you. **Description**: - Assist in managing daily venue operations, ensuring efficiency and high service standards. - Oversee staff training, development, and performance to ensure a motivated and engaged team. - Help to implement operational procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. - Ensure excellent guest experiences by addressing feedback and resolving issues promptly. - Assist with stock management, ordering, and inventory control. - Support the Venue Manager in planning and executing marketing, events, and promotions. - Contribute to creating a positive and collaborative team culture across all levels of the venue. - Act as a point of contact for any operational concerns or escalated guest issues in the absence of the Venue Manager. **Skills and Experiences**: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role (assistant venue manager, assistant general manager, or supervisory position) within a large-scale hospitality environment. - Strong leadership and people management skills. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks effectively. - In-depth knowledge of health and safety standards within the hospitality industry. - Passion for craft beer, food, and creating an unforgettable guest experience. - Experience with financial management, including budgeting, ordering, and cost control. - Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
