We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Services Manager to join our team at The Garde and Warders Hotel in the centre of Freo As a key member of our management team, you will oversee the daily operations of our Guest Services: Front Office and Housekeeping departments, ensuring exceptional service standards and a welcoming environment for both staff and guests is achieved.

We already successfully operate Emily Taylor Bar and Kitchen with our small Bar “Gimlet”, The Hougoumont Hotel, The Warders Hotel and New Haus Hotel as well as our microbrewery Calamity Rod and in the spring we are set to open our newest hotel - The Garde.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Determine work requirements and allocate duties to Front Office Staff and Housekeepers.
- Coordinate activities with other departments and senior managers.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and manage staff rosters.
- Enforce best practice safety regulations.
- Monitor team performance and implement operational improvements.
- Resolve staff grievances and support team wellbeing.
- Lead by example at the front desk and throughout the hotel.
- Ensure all staff present themselves on time on and in uniform whilst representing the groups high standards.
- Manage guest relations, responding to feedback and reviews, enhancing the hotel’s reputation and exceeding service expectations.
- Provide a positive and professional work environment.
- Degree-educated (preferred).
- Proven experience in hotel operations or service management;
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a management role;
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities, with experience managing internal and external stakeholders;
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities, with a track record of developing high-performing teams;
- Strong planning, organisational, and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Proficient using hospitality systems and best practices;
- Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiencies and implementing strategic movement;
Collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to work effectively across departments and lead by example;
- Passion for delivering outstanding guest service in a fast paced environment.
