The Role

We are seeking an outstanding Head of Middle School (Years 7–9) to lead with purpose and passion. Reporting to the Deputy Principal and as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape the direction of the Middle School by driving student wellbeing, engagement, and leadership.

This is a full-time position with significant time release (0.6 FTE), offering the opportunity to lead strategically while remaining connected to the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide inspirational leadership of the Middle School wellbeing and behaviour programs.
  • Inspire and mentor staff and student leaders to foster a strong sense of belonging and purpose.
  • Build positive partnerships with students, families and the wider community.
  • Champion evidence-based wellbeing and behaviour management practices.
  • Collaborate across the school to ensure a seamless learning journey from Primary to Senior School.
  • Represent the school's values and vision at key events and within the broader community.
