Opportunity for Leadership

Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational, non-government school for ELC to Year 12 students. It has three campuses across Darwin: Howard Springs, Palmerston and Leanyer.

Applications are sought for a suitably qualified and experienced Secondary Teacher to join our Science team at the Howard Springs Middle/Senior campus on a permanent, full-time basis. For a suitable candidate, there is also an opportunity to lead the growth of our Science team and curriculum, and contribute to leadership more broadly.

The ideal candidate should have experience teaching and a deep understanding of Science, as a curriculum area. You should have demonstrated experience and ability to work independently and as part of a team, developing, establishing, implementing, and monitoring learning and curriculum. It is ideal if you love the curriculum area that you will teach.

Willingness and experience teaching in other subjects is favourable but not required in this position.
