Location: Emporium Melbourne – Premium Sheepskin Lifestyle Store

Are you passionate about retail and skilled in building genuine connections with customers? Do you speak fluent Chinese and enjoy helping shoppers feel welcome and well-informed? We're looking for a confident and motivated Retail Sales Specialist to join our store in the heart of Melbourne CBD.

About the Role

You'll be working in a well-established Australian sheepskin lifestyle store, offering a premium range of products including Ugg boots, sheepskin rugs, wool accessories, and baby care items. This role blends retail sales with light content creation and offers the chance to grow with a trusted local brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and assist customers in-store, delivering outstanding product knowledge and service
  • Create and post content on Chinese social media platform 小红书 (Red Note) to connect with our online audience and build brand visibility
  • Manage daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and processing EFTPOS sales
  • Act as a brand ambassador, relaying customer feedback and product requests to head office

About You

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in retail sales, ideally in footwear, fashion, or lifestyle products
  • Fluent in both spoken and written Chinese; English proficiency also essential
  • Comfortable working independently and proactively in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Confident using Chinese social media (particularly 小红书) to edit and make posts of new store products and offers.
  • Friendly, reliable, and approachable, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Available to work weekends and weekdays based on a rotating roster
