The Realm Precinct is busier than ever and searching for an experienced Weddings & Events Sales Executive to join our rapidly expanding, innovative and award-winning Conference & Events in a Fully Time capacity.

About the role

Working in a fun and lively environment, the Weddings & Events Sales Executive is responsible for selling and coordinating weddings and special events for DOMA Hotels. This role involves ensuring effective and professional communication with the multi-operational teams and all other relevant outlets within the hotels. This role will deliver exceptional service and experience for our guests and customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating weddings, special events and conferences across Doma Hotels, including preparing and communicating event orders
  • Providing an exceptional guest experience at all touch points across the client customer journey
  • Driving sales by providing accurate and timely quotations and contracts for conferences and events covering venue, menu and accommodation costs to enhance the success of events
  • Conduct site inspections to showcase the portfolio of Doma Hotels to new and existing clients when required
  • Liaising with the operations and kitchen teams to ensure high quality, impeccable service and experience is provided to clients
  • Develop and maintain a contact and customer database within iVvy
  • Representing Doma Hotels at industry trade shows, conferences and networking events when required
  • Provide continuous courteous, friendly customer driven service and project an attitude of enthusiasm and flexibility

Your natural flare exudes passion and ambition, a guest-service expert, with a keen eye for detail.  Naturally, your previous years as an Events Executive, within a luxury hospitality setting, will come highly regarded, as will the following:

  • Strong organisational and coordination abilities with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of iVvy , Opera and Event Draw software systems desirable
  • Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with a wide range of clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to manage multiple events and tight deadlines
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills, including confident negotiation capabilities
  • Impeccable grooming, presentation, and a polished, welcoming demeanor
  • A friendly, outgoing personality and the ability to offer outstanding service
  • Ability to work a Tuesday-Saturday working week
  • A valid working visa for Australia
