Led by people with lived experience, these sessions focus on recovery strategies, life skills, and shared hope. Support is delivered face-to-face in the community or at an Each centre, shaped around what matters most to each person.Your role, your impactAs a Senior Peer Support Worker, you'll guide and mentor peer workers while facilitating group-based recovery activities. You'll lead with lived experience, helping others navigate their recovery journey and building inclusive, trauma-informed spaces across the community.Key responsibilities include:Mentor and support peer workers through reflective practice, supervision, and onboardingFacilitate peer-led recovery groups in diverse community settingsLead development and review of Individual Recovery Plans and participant exit planningCoordinate with stakeholders and referral partners to support collaborative careMonitor engagement and follow-up on non-attendance, embedding outreach strategiesCompile reports on outcomes and contribute to service evaluationRepresent the peer workforce in planning, quality improvement, and team discussionsEnsure program expenditure is tracked and reconciled accuratelyPromote recovery principles and intentional peer support in all aspects of practiceWho we're looking forLived experience of mental illness with minimum 2 years in recoveryCertificate IV in Mental Health (or equivalent)Current unrestricted driver's licenseIntentional Peer Support Core Training CertificateCPR CertificationExperience mentoring or supervising peer workersStrong group facilitation and stakeholder engagement skillsCommitment to trauma-informed, recovery-focused, and culturally safe practiceSkilled in Microsoft Office and electronic client record systemsWhat will make you stand outExperience working collaboratively with referral partners and community organisationsUnderstanding of risk, safety, and escalation processes in community-based recovery workWillingness to undertake leadership or peer supervision trainingWhat's in it for youAt Each you'll be supported to be your best.
