Code Black Psychology is an interdisciplinary team of experienced practitioners providing services to care teams supporting individuals with complex psychosocial disabilities and organisations seeking expertise in dispute resolution and enhancing psychological safety. Our multidisciplinary team includes psychologists, social workers, allied health professionals, and legal practitioners. We offer complex case consultations, diagnostic reviews, care team support and coordination, behavioral support and change, bespoke training, and policy advice. Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time Forensic Clinician role that operates on a hybrid basis, located in Melbourne, VIC, with some work from home acceptable. The Forensic Clinician will be responsible for conducting complex case consultations, diagnostic reviews, and providing care team support and coordination. The role involves behaviour support and change initiatives, contributing to bespoke training programs, and advising on policy and framework development. The clinician will collaborate closely with various team members and clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that supports that most vulnerable members of the Victorian community.
Qualifications
- Expertise in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention
- Experience in conducting forensic evaluations and complex case consultations
- Strong skills in team coordination, behaviour support, and clinical interventions
- Proficiency in providing training and advising on policy and framework development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Registration with relevant professional bodies (e.g., AHPRA) is a plus
- Previous experience in working with complex psychosocial disabilities is advantageous
